Festivals of Fire is an event to celebrate both Beltane and Hidirellez.
In a spring city park you will find an exposition of artworks from several artists within the theme. Spring, renewal, hopes for abundance and health and purification.
On May 7th we'll celebrate with DJ Sigil and welcome all that Spring will bring us.

On 12 May, Port Emyniad, the artists town at the Corsica South Coasters community, will celebrate their adopted Sea Guardian, Nessie.
(The lovely sea dragon made by Cica Ghost).
Nessie keeps a watch out for the Port and has done so for years, bobbing in front of the harbour.
There is a contest (deadline 8 May) to honour Nessie. You can send in paintings, photos, drawings, stories and poems with her as the subject.
There will be two categories:- Pictures/Paintings/Drawings
- Short Stories/Poems
For each category there are prizes:
1st prize = L$ 1000 + personalized trophy
2nd Prize = L$ 750 + personalized trophy
3rd Prize = L$ 250 + personalized trophy
