Dear Art and Photography Enthusiasts,

We are pleased to announce that the Novaowl Sky Gallery will be opening the exhibition "seen through my eyes" by Leonorah Beverly on March 5, 2024, at 11:30 AM SLT (20:30 CET). The talented artist will be presenting her fascinating nature shots from Second Life, which bear witness to her many years of experience and passion for photography in this virtual world.

Leonorah Beverly has been active in Second Life for over 15 years and has developed a unique perspective that she shares through her images. Her works exhibit remarkable quality and invite viewers to immerse themselves in the beauty and fascination of her virtual world.

The exhibition has been lovingly curated by Leonorah herself to showcase her artworks in the best possible light. We invite you to attend this special opening and learn more about the thoughts and inspirations behind the images. Leonorah Beverly will also be present and looks forward to discussing her works with you.

During the event, DJ Uli Jansma will provide musical entertainment to enhance the atmosphere with fitting tunes.

"Memento Vivere", in Latin, means "Remember to live".

Isn’t it the other face of the same medal with

"Memento Mori" which means "Remember that you’ll die"?

What if the fear of dying was actually the fear of living?

This installation, mixing 2D, 3D and multimedia is meant to explore this question.

The bias being to treat the subject with all the more lightness that it is serious, even heavy.

Visitors are therefore invited to take their time to look and sometimes interact with the artworks with their inner child, without forgetting their sense of humor, and to find the stories and messages that speak to them.

Inara is most known for her blog. INARA PEY: LIVING IN A MODEMWORLD

Inara dosn't see herself as an artist or photographer, but rather a blogger who uses images to illustrate her writings about the places she visit in Second Life. They are intentionally devoid of narrative an avatars, and have minimal post-processing to achieve this. That people find them attractive and like them is genuinely flattering to her, as she is constantly in awe of those who can create such stunning images of Second Life.
